Stores and Logistics Controller

We are looking for a Stores and Logistics Controller who will:

The responsibilities and duties of the Stores and Logistics Controller will be as follows:

You will report to the Delivery & Logistics Manager and work closely with our production, engineering, quality and programme management departments. The role will be responsible for the Inventory Management of all direct (aircraft) and indirect (off aircraft) stock at our site at Cotswold Airport.  

Key day to day activity and accountabilities will include:

• Goods Receipting 
• Goods Inspection and storage 
• Inventory Quality Checks including preparation for regulatory Audits 
• Monitoring stock levels and ordering stock accordingly  
• Order Fulfilment 
• Aircraft kit list fulfilment 
• Tool kit monitoring and issuing 
• Cleaning and maintaining stores 
• Distribution and delivery as required 

The successful Stores and Logistics controller will have the following Experience & Qualifications:  

• A full clean driving licence 
• Fork Lift Truck driving qualification preferable 
• Experience in working in a regulated or complex stores/inventory management environment. 
• Experience working in an aircraft stores/warehouse for an Aerospace company is preferable.  
• Experience with ERP systems. 
• IT skills, ability to learn new software skills quickly. 
• Strong organisational skills. 
• A blend of iQ and eQ, the ability to solve new problems in a fast-paced start-up environment. 
• A team player with a can-do attitude who works well in a range of teams.
