We are looking for a Flight Control Laws Engineer who will:

The responsibilities and duties of a Flight Control Laws Engineer will be as follows:
In this role you will:
- Execute the strategy for analysing control law performance
- Build analysis tools, methods and process for analysis of control law performance and assessment of stability and robustness
- Test and analyse models in simulation and with hardware in the loop
- Analyse flight test data and use it to perform system identification
- Participate in validation and verification tasks
- Collaborate with both internal and external partners in developing our control law design
The successful Flight Control Laws Engineer will have the following Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Control Engineering or other relevant discipline
- Awareness of higher-order control laws for clean-sheet aircraft designs
- Strong mathematical ability
- Good MATLAB/Simulink skills
- Effective technical writing and presentation skills and an ability to clearly communicate conclusions from large and complex datasets
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a small, motivated team
Highly desirable:
- Awareness of advanced control theory, such as μ-Analysis and/or nonlinear dynamic inversion
Also beneficial:
- Familiarity with the processes associated with the certification of control laws
- Awareness of requirements management and use of requirements management tools
- Knowledge of system identification methodology and its application to building mathematical models of dynamic systems
