Senior Manager, Internal Controls & SOX Compliance

We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</span></p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong><strong> </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">(specifics on what the role entails and what is to be expected of the candidate on a daily basis)</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The internal controls organization, reports to SVP and Corporate Controller and operates under the following principles:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Driving the company’s risk and controls roadmap increasing awareness of controls at the operational level through training and hands -on process reviews</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Helping business leaders to improve control documentation</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensuring control effectiveness through test of design and operating effectiveness through test of design and operating effectiveness</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assisting business leaders with control remediation plans</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Support the end-to-end internal controls over Financial Reporting(ICFR) compliance for the Company, including Business Process Controls, IT General Controls(ITGC) and Entity Level Controls(ELC), and Entity Level Controls(ELC), to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Subject matter expert on internal controls, SOX compliance and risk management</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Conduct risk assessments based on qualitative and quantitative factors to determine the annual SOX scope, including key systems</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lead process walkthrough meetings, create and maintain process flow diagrams, risk control matrices(RCM)and narratives</span></p> <p><strong>What you need:</strong><strong> </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">(degrees, skills, years of experience, etc.)</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley(SOX), PCAOB auditing standards, COSO and US GAAP</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Certified Public Accountant(CPA), Certified Internal Auditor(CIA), ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent certification required&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience in IT General Controls and IT Automated Controls, with sound understanding of IT infrastructure and applications</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">8+ years in a public accounting firm or public company with internal or external ICFR audit experience</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Understanding of external auditor requirements and expectations for SOX ICFR compliance</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to analyze data effectively, efficiently and accurately</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong written and verbal communication skills</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Professional demeanor with ability to interact with all levels of management</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proficiency with Excel, Lucid Charts, MS office Applications</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;ERP experience especially SAP</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;Big 4 Public Accounting&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;Public Company experience</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;Manufacturing experience a plus</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;SOX 404 experience</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Archer is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
