What You Will Be Doing
As a Salesforce Automation QA Engineer, you will support the team with Automation testing with best practices to ensure quality is built in and inherent to team delivery. Develop and implement automated test scripts for Salesforce applications using industry-standard automation tools. You will serve as the quality analyst of an agile team and will help implement agile software delivery practices such as automation, regression and continuous integration
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Develop and implement automated test scripts for Salesforce applications using industry-standard automation tools.
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on testability and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Perform regression testing to validate software changes and updates.
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand system architecture and design for effective test planning.
- Work closely with Functional testing team to plan and automate functional test scripts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years Relevant Experience
- Proven experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce processes and functionalities.
- Experience in Salesforce – Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and CPQ. Added advantage to have experience in Ecommerce cloud.
- Familiarity with Cucumber and other automation testing frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in API automation testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins), and test management systems (e.g., Jira).
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
