We are currently looking after a Manufacturing Test Software Engineer.
We highly value the quality of our products. Every component has to go through a test cycle so we are 100% sure that the product performs according requirements.

Your role as a Manufacturing Test Engineer is to create test procedures and write test software to help guarantee the quality of our products. Are you passionate about technology, hardware and software. Is writing test software for product testing something you get energy from? Are you able to work both in a collaborative environment, as well as independently.

Then you are probably the Smappee Engineer we are looking for!

Responsabilities

  • Your main responsibility is to define test procedures and write the tests in a C# environment test system.
  • You analyse electrical diagrams to create the most appropriate test procedure.
  • You define requirements for the hardware test setup system.
  • You follow up the yield rate of the product and adapt the tests were needed.
  • You work closely with the hardware development team, the embedded software team and operations team to specify, develop, debug and validate manufacturing applications.
  • You use modern software engineering practices: version control, documentation as code, multiple environments and automated testing and deployment.
  • If necessary, you offer assistance to colleagues.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronics.
  • You have good knowledge of code writing in C# or python.
  • Understanding of hardware design, ability to read electronic schematics and data sheets are no secret to you.
  • As a Manufacturing test software engineer or in a similar role, you have 3 years of proven experience.
  • You have basic product functional testing understanding and experience.
  • You have knowledge of communication technologies (I2C, CAN-bus, Modbus,...)
  • You have excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
