We are looking for a Reliability Engineer to join our Cell Technology. Your mission will be to bring solutions to the design and manufacturing of components for Electric Hydrogen's groundbreaking electrolysis cell.

You will be based onsite in our Lab/Office in Natick, MA.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and develop accelerated stress testing (AST) to understand key technology failure modes
  • Develop novel reliability tests, procedures, and related specifications
  • Design and develop failure analysis techniques to characterize key technology failure modes
  • Design and execute experimental plan to optimize cell performance and reliability
  • Drive and document Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to mitigate and/or design out potential issues
  • Support test data analysis to resolve issues detected in testing
  • Work closely with a diverse and passionate engineering team to provide insights to unblock issues and maintain cell technology advantage
  • Provide excellent communication within Electric Hydrogen to facilitate coordinating technology goals and milestones

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS required (Chem Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry or other science and engineering discipline)
  • 2+ years in industrial R&D in chemical, materials, or device-design or equivalent non-industrial experience
  • Experience in developing and performing stress tests
  • Creative approach to problem-solving and risk mitigation
  • Failure analysis methodology for root cause identification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MS or Ph.D.
  • Statistical experience such as JMP or familiarity with accelerated stress models
  • Application of Design of Experiments and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
