We are looking for a CNC Supervisor to oversee CNC machine operations, ensure production goals are met, and manage a team to maintain quality, efficiency, and safety. You will troubleshoot issues, train operators, and collaborate with other teams to improve processes.

You will work onsite at our Devens, MA office and you will report to our Manufacturing Site Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Management and Training: Oversee daily operations of the CNC machining team, including assigning tasks, training new operators, and providing ongoing support

  • Production Management: Manage the CNC machining operations, ensuring that all production targets are met on time and within budget

  • Quality Control: Ensure all CNC machined parts meet quality standards and specifications

  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot machine issues, diagnose malfunctions, and assist with repairs and maintenance (which may include vendor interface)

  • Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety standards and company policies in the CNC department

  • Collaboration: Work with engineering and quality teams to improve processes, implement improvements, and resolve technical issues

  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate production records, track team performance, and ensure compliance with relevant procedures

  • MES: Ensure work orders are available and used to start jobs and move product correctly

  • 5S: Maintain a 5S/Lean approach to Manufacturing efficiency

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in CNC machining operations, setup, and troubleshooting in a high volume manufacturing operation

  • Supervisory/Leadership: 3+ years demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills and ability to manage, train, and motivate a team

  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of blueprint reading, titanium processing, CNC programming using Mastercam or Fusion

  • Problem-Solving: Experience troubleshooting machine issues and resolving production problems

  • Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments

  • Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience using Brothers and Okuma equipment

$110,000$125,000 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
