About the company:

Over millions of years, silicate rock weathering has regulated Earth’s climate. By crushing silicate rocks and spreading them on agricultural soils - an approach called Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW) - we can accelerate Earth’s natural process into a solution capable of addressing the urgency of climate change.

Existing agricultural and silicate rock sites - namely 5,000+ global silicate rock quarries surrounded by agricultural land - have the potential to remove billions of tonnes of CO2 with enhanced rock weathering. Despite this potential, ERW hasn’t scaled given the extraordinary scientific, technological, and operational challenges involved. Terradot, founded out of the Stanford ecosystem, is addressing these challenges by advancing the science, building the technology, and assembling the coalition needed to make this potential a reality.

We’ve started in Brazil – one of the world’s most optimal locations for ERW thanks to its tropical soils, strength in agriculture, and clean electricity grid. There, we are building the most ambitious ERW hub to date. This hub will drive the necessary breakthroughs in ERW science, ensuring every tonne of carbon dioxide removed is measured and tracked with certainty.

These insights will power digital tools for the optimization and verification of carbon removal projects, enabling the replicability of these hubs globally If successful, this approach will uniquely and rapidly catalyze global-scale carbon removal, enabling the transformation of [300] such quarries in Brazil and [5,000+] global quarries into carbon removal hubs.

Terradot has assembled a growing team of leading scientists and engineers with decades of published research (over 100,000 citations on ERW) and hands-on expertise in related fields, providing unmatched experience to drive advancements in ERW.

Project Operations Analyst

We are looking for a Project Operations Analyst to support the planning and execution of ERW projects across Brazil. This role will help structure deployment plans, coordinate logistics, and ensure high-quality operational execution through close collaboration with field, science, and tech teams. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has strong organizational and analytical skills, and is excited about scaling real-world climate solutions from the ground up.

Location: São Paulo – SP (On-site)
Languages: Portuguese and English – both fluent

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the end-to-end execution of project deployments, from planning through to delivery and documentation.

  • Work closely with field teams, scientists, and project managers to coordinate tasks, track progress, and solve operational blockers.

  • Help create and maintain deployment plans, including logistics workflows, documentation templates, and status reports.

  • Ensure critical data is captured, structured, and delivered to the right stakeholders.

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining systems to track operational success metrics and deployment milestones.

  • Participate in field visits to understand execution challenges and improve coordination between planning and ground realities.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes based on feedback and lessons learned.

Background & Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Natural Sciences, Agronomy, Logistics, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, project coordination, or field execution roles.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when managing information from multiple sources.

  • Comfortable working with structured data.

  • Clear communicator (both written and verbal) in Portuguese and English.

  • Proactive problem-solver who can anticipate and address planning and execution challenges.

  • Willing to occasionally travel to rural areas to support or observe project execution.

What does success in this role look like?

  • The teams you work with are aligned, and field operations run on schedule.

  • Field data is reliable, well-organized, and requires minimal revision.

  • Issues are identified and escalated quickly, with thoughtful solutions proposed.

  • Planning documents are clear, up to date, and easy for others to use.

  • You’re constantly spotting ways to improve how things are done and actually making those improvements happen.
