About the company:

LEKO LABS' building system is a novel state of the art to build walls and floors for buildings that have a minimal carbon footprint, are highly insulating and commercially very attractive for developers.
We are active in Luxembourg and on an expansion course across Europe and then wider around the globe. First full homes have been completed based on the LEKO LABS technology in the past two years and we are now scaling up our manufacturing and sales.

As a Process Engineer, you will be part of our core robotics team helping to perfection the assembly process of our innovative automated systems.
The ideal candidate has the relevant proven experience working on setting up industrial automation systems, possesses strong practical knowledge of manufacturing methods and enjoys problem solving.
This position reports directly to the Head of Robotics.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and optimize our manufacturing process capability and production volume by defining repeatable and reliable industrial techniques / criteria
  • Develop best practices, routines and innovative manufacturing technologies to improve production rates, quality standards, yields, costs and changeovers.
  • Conduct tests and monitor the process performance throughout R&D and production
  • Troubleshoot problems associated with manufacturing assembly processes
  • Evaluate processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
  • Plan and undertake scheduled equipment maintenance
  • Manage cost and time constraints
  • Provide process documentation and operating instructions, including maintenance procedures
  • Research and contribute to the supplier selection process for the most suitable industrial components required
  • Assist procurement, commissioning and deployment phases of the project
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of strong industrial automation process control and experience in automotive / aerospace type joining methods (i.e. gluing, screwing, welding, etc.)
  • Proven skills of joining process setup and quality-driven improvements deployed in production.
  • Proven experience in conducting safety / risk assessment activities and CE certification processes will be considered a strong plus.
  • A proven “can do” and ”get it done” attitude.
  • Able to communicate with a range of personalities and job levels from Operators to Engineers.
  • Self-starter able to work independently as well as in the team to meet tight deadlines.
