Operations Excellence Lead

We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</span></p></div><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Be the focal point to project manage Archer’s cross-functional business process and system stand up to include:</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Works collaboratively across the organization to identify cross-functional capability needs and develop the business relevance, impact, benefit across the company.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Serves as a cross-functional advisor to each Functional Department by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Will align and bring expertise through internal or external subject matter experts to support&nbsp; cross-functional efforts for process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with existing procedures</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensures that resulting capability, including policies, processes and procedures align with corporate requirements, vision, mission and values.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assists in the set up of business KPIs</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Leads process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives in order to arrive at best practices.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Need</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bachelor's degree. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Broad awareness of how business enterprises operate and how business capabilities support multiple functions</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Knowledge of how business systems are created and documented to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Special value applied to experience in Aerospace and Defense companies.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Project, product or program management experience with special value applied to cross-functional business capability project experience.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to identify emerging business capability needs and create a cross-functional plan of action and milestones to develop the capability.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to influence business leaders with suggestions, data, business cases to make the optimal decision relative to creating business capability.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Engage in functional process design.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Articulate how something threads across all Functional Departments to create a benefit to the organization.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to prioritize and sequence multiple business capability projects.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Knowledge of Business Performance Management (aka Corporate Performance Management) models, approaches and techniques.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Knowledge of Change Management (CM) models, approaches and techniques.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience leading a cross-functional team during a major business system change (e.g. Business Process or System Modernization, Business Process or System Re-Engineering or Business Process or System Transformation )</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Knowledge of 2 or more of these enterprise business capabilities: ERP, MRP, PLM, CRM, QMS, Cost Reporting Systems, SIOP</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong interpersonal skills especially in team building/maintenance and customer relationships</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Must be able to act independently and make decisions on administrative / operational issues affecting the success of this organization.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Certifications in project or program management (PMP or CAPM)&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience and knowledge of Organizational Design (OD) including the&nbsp; building blocks of organization design (e.g. strategy, structure, process, etc.), and how do they integrate together&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with new ventures or start up and designing effective organizations&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with changing organizations as they mature and experiences business cycles and technological advances</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Business System project management for a multi-year implementation of a major system change or upgrade</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with strategy deployment / Hoshin Kanri facilitation at executive levels</span></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h5><span style="font-weight: 400;">Archer is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
