Master Thesis 2024 - Electric Freight

Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today, we are a team of more than 500 people, and our award-winning technology is being deployed across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients include some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies.

The spring 2024 edition of our Master’s Thesis Program is open to second-year Master’s students worldwide in all relevant disciplines. The program serves as a platform for students to gain insights into the industry, the day-to-day life at a scale-up, and can lead to a permanent position. In the program, each graduate is supervised by Einride’s team members that have experience in the thesis’ subject area. The thesis topics will be based on the students’ ideas, educational and professional background and Einride’s development needs. The program runs from January to June 2024.

Within Electric Freight we develop world-class prediction, monitoring, and control capabilities and to specify and operate fleets of electric vehicles, chargers, and telematics control units. Topics might include fleet management, range management, vehicle digitalization etc. 

Einride delivers collaborative, data-powered tools for shippers and carriers, driving the transition towards electric and autonomous. Interesting topics in this area include GIS applications in electric freight, electric vehicle routing and energy management.
