In this role, you will be joining the Optimization team, the brain behind our intelligent freight management platform for electric vehicles. Our team focuses on developing cutting-edge optimization algorithms that empower efficient routing, scheduling, and charging strategies for our electric fleet. We are looking for an enthusiastic, humble, and creative Optimization Engineer who is passionate about applying their skills to revolutionize the transportation industry and contribute to a more sustainable future.

What you’ll do
Use your algorithmic thinking and mathematical skills to develop creative solutions to hard optimization problems related to electric fleet management.Collaborate with software engineers to integrate optimization solutions into our electric fleet management platform.Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns that can be used to improve optimization models.Engage with stakeholders and other teams to gain insights into the current challenges and opportunities for optimization within our freight management platform.Who you are
Have experience in algorithm design and optimizationExperience with relevant optimization concepts/techniques (metaheuristics, MIP, CP, …)Enjoy working in a diverse team environment with close collaboration with other engineers and relevant stakeholdersAre comfortable working with different technologies in a modern tech stack (Java, Go, Python, Microservices, GCP, GRPC, …)A passion for sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment.Preferred: Familiarity with the transportation and logistics industry
