We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Manufacturing Systems Analyst. Working closely with stakeholders from IT, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance, you will build and maintain the digital representation of our factories to enable a ramp to high volume manufacturing. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day administration of these systems to help accelerate us towards our goal of industrial decarbonization. You have experience leading systems implementations, integrations and upkeep of a full suite of manufacturing systems to support high volume production environments. You maintain a holistic view of the 'big picture' and champion that vision to others across the business. To succeed in this position, you should be an experienced professional with in-depth knowledge of business processes and business systems analysis techniques, playing a critical role in improving the company’s processes for better operational efficiency.
You will be based at our facility in Natick, MA, and will report to the Head of IT.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work collaboratively across multiple departments (Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Finance, etc.) and 'connect the dots' between our various systems
• Co-ordinate the implementation of a full suite of manufacturing systems to provide the digital framework for scaling to high-volume production
• Work with integration specialists to define and implement integrations between ERP, PLM, MES, CAD and other systems
• Manage configurations across all manufacturing systems
• Serve as the system administrator for CAD, PLM and MES
• Serve as the point-of-contact for all daily system upkeep and maintenance needs
• Manage integrations with automated tooling and equipment
• Define and implement data and information flows into and out of our manufacturing systems to enable advanced process monitoring
• Keep a future-focused mindset and think of not only the present state of our tools but how those tools will function in the future
• Develop comprehensive documentation on our software tools, internal best practices, policies and procedures
• Spearhead business process improvements across the company from a technology and operations standpoint
• Be able to lead and project manage initiatives that are highly technical in nature
• Advocate for new technology when appropriate and push back when you feel is needed
• Support and train teammates on company software systems
• Determine the most efficient means of providing specified data to satisfy user functions
• Maintain an excellent user experience, at all times
• Track company systems progress, document and report on systems effectiveness
• Serve as the first point of contact for manufacturing applications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree in a relevant STEM field or equivalent experience with proof of outstanding work
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (requirements analysis, design definition, software development, and solutions implementation)
• In depth knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Materials Resource Planning (MRP), Product Lifecycle Maintenance (PLM), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and other peripheral applications (for example warehouse management) systems
• Organized with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
• Excellent interpersonal skills and solid communication with all company levels
• Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Previous experience in systems integration
• Ability to creatively approach and solve situations
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Systems or manufacturing background
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with MES systems
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Onshape or another cloud-based CAD system
• Experience with Microsoft Business Dynamics
• Experience with Arena PLM
• Background in energy/climate related businesses
• Experience working with deeply technical engineering team colleagues
• Passionate about decarbonization
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
[Natick Zone] Manufacturing Systems Analyst (P2): $86,000 - $114,000
[Natick Zone] Manufacturing Systems Analyst (P3): $107,000 - $143,000
Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.
