Manager Chemical Process Laboratory (full- or part-time)

Your mission

100 years after the invention of industrial methanol synthesis, we will fundamentally revolutionise this technology. Our disruptive process is based on homogeneous catalysis, which enables us to fundamentally rethink methanol production in a green way. To this end, we are launching our first pilot in one of Germany's largest chemical parks to demonstrate our technology based on CO2 and green hydrogen.

We are looking for you to drive this milestone forward together with us and thus take the first step towards industrial-scale homogeneous production of green methanol!

Your mission will be:

• You will set up our pilot plant at the Berlin site
  
  
• You will put our new catalysts, reactors and processes through their paces there
  
  
• You will lead a team of highly motivated engineers and chemists to success and organize operations and staffing
  
  
• You are responsible for laboratory safety

Your profile

• You have completed a diploma / master's degree in the field of mechanical engineering, process engineering or electrical engineering with above-average results.
  
  
• You have experience in operating chemical/technical test facilities on a laboratory or pilot plant scale.
  
  
• You have first experience in leading employees, or have the confidence to do so.
  
  
• You can evaluate the safety of chemical and process engineering processes and ensure safe operation at all times.
