Development Engineer Chemical Apparatus and Components (full- or part-time)

Your mission

100 years after the invention of industrial methanol synthesis, we will fundamentally revolutionise this technology. Our disruptive process is based on homogeneous catalysis, which enables us to fundamentally rethink methanol production in a green way. To this end, we are launching our first pilot in one of Germany's largest chemical parks to demonstrate our technology based on CO2 and green hydrogen.

We are looking for you to drive this milestone forward together with us and thus take the first step towards industrial-scale homogeneous production of green methanol!

Your mission will be:

• You design and lay out plant components such as reactors, columns and heat exchangers
  
  
• You evaluate materials and plant components with regard to stress, aging and corrosion
  
  
• You plan procurement and maintenance of plant components 
  
  
• You support the commissioning of pilot plants 
  
  
• You ensure that all parts simply fit together and function properly

Your profile

• You have a diploma / master's degree in mechanical or process engineering
  
  
• You have experience in the design and construction of chemical apparatus and plant components
  
  
• You are familiar with modern software for design and construction 
  
  
• You can evaluate components and processes with regard to safety and reliability
