Development Engineer Process Control and Automation (full- or part-time)

Your mission

100 years after the invention of industrial methanol synthesis, we will fundamentally revolutionise this technology. Our disruptive process is based on homogeneous catalysis, which enables us to fundamentally rethink methanol production in a green way. To this end, we are launching our first pilot in one of Germany's largest chemical parks to demonstrate our technology based on CO2 and green hydrogen.

We are looking for you to drive this milestone forward together with us and thus take the first step towards industrial-scale homogeneous production of green methanol!

Your mission will be:

• You design measurement and control strategies for our chemical processes
  
  
• You plan the procurement and maintenance of the MSR components
  
  
• You program software for process control and data evaluation and are responsible for the IT security of the process components
  
  
• You support the commissioning of the pilot plants
  
  
• You ensure that all components work together smoothly

Your profile

You have a diploma / master's degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or electrical engineering

• You are familiar with the MSR technology of modern production plants
  
  
• You have experience in design and programming of process controls (e.g. Siemens PC7)
  
  
• You can evaluate electronic components and IT systems with regard to safety and reliability
