About the company:

<4-6 month session> <recruitment for Fall 2023>
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and build novel equipment and machines to support rapid R&D of electrochemical cells
- Upgrade and troubleshoot existing electromechanical systems
- Evaluate P&ID's and process diagrams for fluid systems
- Manage bill of materials and design documentation
- Source specific components including mechanical hardware, fluid hardware and electrical components
- Create custom drawings and system specifications
- Work closely with suppliers to manage part quality and delivery timing
- Evaluate samples, build prototype components, and assemble prototype systems
- Develop and perform component and system level testing
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or similar
- Experience with engineering design process
- Fluid and electrical system experience preferred
- Hands-on experience building and debugging systems
- 2D/3D CAD (e.g. SolidWorks)
- Eagerness to seek better solutions and learn new skills
- Self-starter with an ability to spot problems and take initiative to solve them
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$1,500 transportation stipend will be provided
[Natick, MA Zone] Intern: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.
