About the company:
Archer is an aerospace company based in Palo Alto, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What you’ll do:
- We are working to build a team of who will be strategic partners with the business. We seek applicants who will build and thrive in our culture: team-oriented, collegial, non-hierarchical, diverse perspectives, productive, and adaptable.
- The position will work closely with the CLO, Chief of Staff and business stakeholders at all levels of the company to define and drive strategic and operational initiatives with on-time and on-budget results, such as:
- Work cross functionally to set ESG strategy and standards to support the future capability needs for ESG compliance and reporting across the company to meet quickly evolving regulatory requirements
- Develop measurement policies and implement governance processes and disclosure controls to ensure completeness and accuracy of ESG reporting
- Provide program updates on ESG to senior management and the board of directors, including highlight risks as they arise and propose potential solutions or mitigation plans
- Stay abreast of new developments in laws and regulations relating to ESG topics
- This role will be working on cutting-edge legal issues in a fast-paced environment, so we are seeking ambitious candidates who are interested in working hard, moving fast, and playing a significant role in the development of a world class Legal Team.
What you need:
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years of relevant experience required
- Experience as a detail-oriented leader who can function independently with diverse stakeholders and manage through influence across levels and functions
- Knowledge of ESG trends, ratings and benchmarking
- High level of professionalism and motivation, and be able work individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced, rapidly changing startup environment
- Ability to take initiative to identify and complete tasks
- Ability to manage multiple projects with rapidly changing priorities
- Demonstrated capacity and passion for organization and efficiency
- Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
