About the company:

This position will be based in San Carlos, CA.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze data generated during development and testing of novel prototype designs.
- Calculate metrics to quantify performance, efficiency, and degradation; present your results clearly.
- Provide support to scientists and engineers who use data in their day-to-day research. Develop Python scripts to automate routine data analysis tasks.
- Build and maintain data dashboards for visualization of scientific data.
- Perform on-going database administration tasks for our historian and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Support data scientists in the development of infrastructure such as custom libraries and packages.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
- 2+ years working using Python to develop tools for data analysis. A combination of relevant coursework and prior industry or research experience is acceptable.
- Familiarity with common tools and libraries in the Python data science stack, including NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas. Experience developing tools for scientists and researchers in a Jupyter notebook environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with relational databases and experience working with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server.
- Prior internship or work experience at a start-up is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
[Natick, MA Zone] Intern: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
[San Carlos, CA Zone] Intern: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.
Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package. We feel strongly that our team should not have to worry about having quality healthcare. In addition to the base salary offered, the hired applicant may receive:
