As a Coating Technician, you will be responsible for daily operation and maintenance of the coating equipment in the production of a decal for MEA assembly. You will work with a Lead Technician to execute daily task, assist with development trials, track inventory, provide data and record keeping. You will also work closely with other teams to achieve manufacturing goals.

This position will be based onsite in our lab in Natick, MA and report to the Lead/Supervisor of Coating.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and must be able to follow established safety guidelines.
  • Execute day-to-day manufacturing tasks and coordinate with production planners.
  • Ability to operate automated equipment.
  • Initiate and manage non-conformance reports, material review boards and deviations.
  • Record and manage manufacturing data.
  • Troubleshoot instrument and equipment issues.
  • Ability to read, interpret and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and both written and verbal instructions.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, participating in hazard assessments and safety reviews.

REQUIREMENT:

  • Associate degree in science or high school diploma/equivalent with 2-3 years of experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of wet lab experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Experience with thin-film roll-to-roll coating and similar material deposition methods preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform computer transactions accurately.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in fuel cells, batteries, semiconductors and electrolyzers would be a plus.

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
