About the company:

We have set out to create an all electric truck specifically to be used in and around cities and urban areas. No tailpipe emissions, no engine noise. And without a bulky diesel engine we’re also able to completely re-design the cabin with a driver-centric approach to make the vehicle safer for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists. The driver seat has literally been placed in the center and the cab lowered to optimise the driver’s field of view and to allow easy access on both sides with sliding doors. In short, we’re ripping up the design book on urban trucks and starting again.

Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for an International an Aftersales Manager to support its ambition to expand rapidly into new markets. This is an opportunity to join a new team based in Germany and shape the company’s go-to-market strategy from the outset.

Please note: Due the hybrid nature of this role, candidates from the Rhine-Ruhr region are also welcome to apply. Only applicants with fluent German (C2, C1 or advance) and English speaking skills will be taken in consideration.

About the role:
Lead the Truck-as-a-Service onboarding process for several customers, project managing the setup of everything from charging infrastructure installation, training, and any required customization to our maintenance and servicing offering

  • Work effectively with the electrical engineers to develop best practices for charger infrastructure project management
  • Seeking retention rate and growth across different service offering
  • Help to create the Volta Customer Success process and handbook
  • Manage key accounts and initiate conversations with customers about scaling up their electric fleet operations
We would like you to have:

  • Previous experience of a customer success or related customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication skills, a willingness to explain things, and the ability to distil complex processes into an understandable format
  • A collaborative approach with a can-do mindset and an ability to energize teams
  • The ability to work autonomously in the fast-paced, complex and ambiguous environment of a start-up
