Fluence is seeking an experience engineering leader who can partner with product management and manufacturing to conceptualize systems level design of complex industrial products, develop rapid prototypes, take prototypes from concept into mass manufacturing all while driving rigorous engineering design practices into the development of the product roadmap. The VP of Engineering will also be the direct manager of all global technical (non-software) employees in Fluence.
Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, the Vice President of Engineering will be a member of the company’s senior leadership team and will be responsible for leading all global engineering efforts for our world-class Energy storage solutions. In this role, you will lead a talented multi-site, global engineering team focused on the management and development of our energy storage and management offerings. You will help shape the vision for our next generation products in collaboration with stakeholders. Being hands on will be critical to success in this position. Importantly, this person must be capable of growing, developing, and managing a large, high performance engineering organization with open communication and transparency.
