Sr. Process Chemist

Natron Energy is the world's leading developer and supplier of high power, long life, and low cost Prussian Blue Sodium Ion battery solutions for critical power and industrial applications, including data center UPS systems and electrically-powered materials handling equipment.

Natron Energy seeks a process chemist/chemical engineer to assist with the scale-up of its anode and cathode synthesis processes from lab scale to full production scale at contract manufacturers. This role forms the bridge between Natron’s materials development teams and manufacturing partners for the production of the active materials used in Natron’s batteries. Once full- scale partners are established, this role will work closely with manufacturing partners to provide technical guidance for securing and maintaining a steady supply of anode and cathode materials, including ongoing quality improvement and cost reduction. Qualified applicants will have prior hands-on lab experience with bench-scale and pilot scale synthesis of fine chemical compounds, as well as fine chemical synthesis at full production scale. The person for this position has a positive attitude, collaborates well, and does what it takes to get the job done.This is a backfill position.
