Natron Energy is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Technician to join our team in Holland, MI. In this role, you will perform standardized quality control inspections to ensure our products meet company and customer standards for safety, functionality, and overall quality. Additional responsibilities include maintaining calibrated testing equipment, documenting inspection results, and contributing to ongoing improvements in quality control processes.
The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical aptitude, excellent visual discernment, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. A successful Quality Technician at Natron Energy ensures the integrity of our products while supporting efficient and uninterrupted production operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive inspection reports in alignment with company protocols.
  • Inspect goods and products to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, utilizing industry-appropriate methods such as dimensional measurements, functional tests, comparative assessments, and chemical analysis.
  • Ensure all products meet internal quality requirements as well as applicable Federal and State regulations.
  • Verify that all test equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and functioning accurately.
  • Identify and report quality anomalies or non-conformances to the appropriate supervisor for timely resolution.
  • Document and compile inspection results by drafting quality reports, summarizing rework and waste data, and entering findings into the quality database.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance quality control processes and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of test methods, inspection plans, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality testing does not disrupt workflow or production timelines.
  • Stay current on industry practices and regulatory standards by participating in training sessions and ongoing educational opportunities
  • Experience & Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
  • Proven experience as an inspection or quality technician, ideally within a chemical or battery manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of advanced mathematical concepts and their practical applications.
  • Keen visual awareness and attention to detail for identifying product inconsistencies.
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in drafting reports, recording inspection data, and compiling analytical summaries.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Skilled in interpreting and analyzing technical documentation, specifications, and test results.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks in a production environment
