Join Zoox as a Senior Feature Validation Engineer and play a key role in bringing our autonomous vehicle to life. As part of the Feature Integration Verification and Validation team, you’ll lead the effort to validate complex vehicle-level functions and ensure they meet production-level quality. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead a growing team of engineers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop, validate, and continuously improve the robot’s features and capabilities. You’ll be a hands-on technical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, holding yourself, your team, and the broader organization accountable for delivering on system requirements. This role sits within the Vehicle Development organization and is critical to supporting the integration and validation of Zoox’s ground-up autonomous vehicle platform.
Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $155,000 to $257,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field10+ years of experience in hardware, software, and systems verification and validationProven ability to design scalable test strategies across diverse engineering teamsHands-on experience testing integrated vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and HMI componentsExperience leading and growing teams, with strong organizational and cross-functional communication skillsBonus Qualifications
