Zoox is developing autonomous driving from the ground up, including the development of a unique vehicle tailored to autonomous driving. The Vehicle Program team is responsible for driving cross-functional activities to ensure that this groundbreaking vehicle is delivered on-time, to budget and to a very high quality standard.

In this role, you will report to the Director of Vehicle Program Management and lead program management activities for the delivery of our future L3 vehicle program at Zoox.

In this role, you will:

Lead cross-functional collaboration with Vehicle Development and teams across Zoox to plan and deliver vehicle program

Define program milestones, aligning deliverables and success criteria across all stakeholders

Build and maintain an achievable, data-driven program schedule with input from core team members

Track progress through regular checkpoints and adjust plans to keep the program on track

Drive issue resolution by providing solutions, implementing mitigations, and escalating when needed

Ensure teams are resourced effectively to meet program goals

Qualifications

BS or MS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience

8+ years of experience in engineering or program management in the automotive industry

Experience in vehicle development at all stages; product ideation, design, release, prototyping, validation, launch and production

Proficient in tools required to manage complex projects (i.e. Gantt charts)

Bonus Qualifications

Proven track-record in managing complex cross-functional projects

Proficiency using JIRA to capture and track engineering development tasks

Experience in a highly dynamic start-up environment
