YOUR IMPACT
Are you an experienced electrical engineer passionate about shaping the future of energy? Proxima Fusion is seeking a leader to spearhead the development of electrical systems for stellarator fusion power plants. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced R&D environments. Experience with high-current power supplies or development of instrumentation equipment is a strong bonus.

Designing integrated cooling systems that can robustly maintain cryogenic temperatures in large-scale superconducting coils;Evaluating high-level systems concepts, conducting trade studies between components;Collaborating closely with our team of EM, mechanical and electrical engineers, HTS experts, and physicists;Conducting performance analysis and troubleshooting of cryogenic systems;Mentoring and guiding junior engineers in cryogenics and related technologies;Coordinating projects with external suppliers and partners to deliver with the highest quality and speed.WHO YOU ARE
Experienced in cryogenic design and thermal analysis, especially for large-scale prototypes;Proficient in multi-physics modelling, particularly thermal, electromagnetic and structural analysis;Experienced in conceptual design exploration and reduced order analysis;Skilled in engineering development from prototype through to design for manufacture;Excited about working in a dynamic startup environment and passionate about innovative technology applied to clean energy;INTERVIEW PROCESS
