Your Role

As Senior Accountant (f/m/d) you will be the specialist for our continuous accounting processes. In a Finance team of three, you will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, external accounting as well as handling our external stakeholders. The overall goal is to accompany envelio´s growth and support the energy transition at the same time.

How You Make an Impact

You are responsible for the independent preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB including closing activities, account reconciliation and master data management
You have full ownership of our day-to-day finance operations, including customer and supplier invoicing processes
You are the internal contact for accounting topics and coordinate external stakeholders such as our payroll accountant and auditors
You maintain and develop our finance related tools currently including DATEV Unternehmen Online, Spendesk and internal no-code solutions
You optimize and develop our financial processes with a strong focus on automationYou are a key member in the rollout of our new internal accounting solution

Your Profile

You have completed an apprenticeship and further certifications as an accountant or have a comparable qualification
You have at least 3 years of experience in accounting
You have sound knowledge of accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and good knowledge of DATEV Unternehmen Online
You are fluent in German and have a good command of English
