Senior Accountant

Natron Energy is the world's leading developer and supplier of high power, long life, and low cost Prussian Blue Sodium Ion battery solutions for critical power and industrial applications, including data center UPS systems and electrically-powered materials handling equipment.

Natron Energy seeks a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance and accounting team. This person will be a key contributor leading account payable and fixed asset, and assisting with account reconciliations, general ledger, sales taxes, and others to support our rapid growth.

Lead account payable, perform certain treasury duties around invoicing, ACH, Wire and check management

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations including payroll-related accounts.

Prepare bank and cash reconciliations.

Maintain bank and vendor relationships

Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual close processes

Assist with internal and external audits

Assist with preparation of financial statements

Assist with sales tax preparation

Maintain internal controls

Constantly improve workflows and be a NetSuite super-user

Degree in Accounting

Minimum of five years’ experience of corporate accounting experience

Systems experience. Ideally with NetSuite experience or a similar Accounting/ERP system.

Solid understanding of basic and technical accounting and financial reporting principles

Experience with business process improvement techniques

Ability to mine, manipulate and analyze large quantities of data

Strong communication and listening skills

A hands-on attitude and willingness to dig into problems and create data-driven solutions

This is a full-time role working hybrid in our Santa Clara headquarters

Base Salary is determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

In addition, Natron Energy has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k Plan, Life Insurance, and Flexible Time Off and Personal Time Off for Exempt and Non-Exempt employees respectively.

The salary range for this position is a minimum of $95,700 and a maximum of $160,000.
