Your Role

As part of our Sales and Business Development team, you will play a key role in enabling envelio’s growth by acting as the technical backbone of our sales processes. You support our Sales Consultants in complex sales situations such as tenders and enterprise deals by ensuring technical clarity, feasibility, and credibility towards customers.

As Sales Engineer (all genders), you bridge the gap between Sales, Product, and Engineering. You translate customer requirements into product-relevant language, answer deep technical questions, and help position our Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP) convincingly and responsibly.

How You Make an Impact

  • You support Sales Consultants in complex sales processes, especially tenders and enterprise deals, by owning the technical aspects of the sales cycle
  • You act as the technical lead in sales, answering deep-dive customer questions regarding product functionalities, limitations, integrations, and use cases
  • You translate customer and tender requirements into product-relevant language and assess technical feasibility and constraints in close collaboration with Product and Engineering
  • You take ownership of complex tender responses, including solution design and requirement assessments
  • You design and deliver deal-specific technical demos or deep dives tailored to customer requirements
  • You coordinate technical alignment between Sales, Product, Engineering, and other involved teams in complex sales setups

Your Profile

Perfection is a myth! We’re more interested in the human behind the screen, so think of these criteria as helpful directions — we're excited to see how your unique skills might fit in.
  • You have a master's degree, a completed PhD, or an equivalent qualification in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • You have experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting
  • You are able to explain complex technical topics in a clear and structured way to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • You have a strong understanding of the power systems and the challenges in distribution networks; experience with software products, integrations, and system architectures are a big plus
  • You work in a structured and reliable manner, even in time-critical situations such as tenders
  • You enjoy collaborating across departments and see yourself as a bridge between Sales, Product, and Engineering
  • You bring a high degree of ownership, initiative, and responsibility for your topics
  • You are fluent in German and English; other languages are a plus
