About the company:

Over millions of years, silicate rock weathering has regulated Earth’s climate. By crushing silicate rocks and spreading them on agricultural soils - an approach called Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW) - we can accelerate Earth’s natural process into a solution capable of addressing the urgency of climate change.

Existing agricultural and silicate rock sites - namely 5,000+ global silicate rock quarries surrounded by agricultural land - have the potential to remove billions of tonnes of CO2 with enhanced rock weathering. Despite this potential, ERW hasn’t scaled given the extraordinary scientific, technological, and operational challenges involved. Terradot, founded out of the Stanford ecosystem, is addressing these challenges by advancing the science, building the technology, and assembling the coalition needed to make this potential a reality.

We’ve started in Brazil – one of the world’s most optimal locations for ERW thanks to its tropical soils, strength in agriculture, and clean electricity grid. There, we are building the most ambitious ERW hub to date. This hub will drive the necessary breakthroughs in ERW science, ensuring every tonne of carbon dioxide removed is measured and tracked with certainty.

These insights will power digital tools for the optimization and verification of carbon removal projects, enabling the replicability of these hubs globally If successful, this approach will uniquely and rapidly catalyze global-scale carbon removal, enabling the transformation of [300] such quarries in Brazil and [5,000+] global quarries into carbon removal hubs.

Terradot has assembled a growing team of leading scientists and engineers with decades of published research (over 100,000 citations on ERW) and hands-on expertise in related fields, providing unmatched experience to drive advancements in ERW.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and execution-focused SOP Specialist to support the implementation and day-to-day management of Terradot’s Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. This role will be instrumental in enabling structured, process-driven operations through data consolidation, planning routines, performance monitoring, and execution control.

As Terradot transitions from a project-based to a process-driven company with national deployment ambitions, the SOP Specialist will play a key role in bringing structure, consistency, and scalability to our operational planning practices.

Role Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and update deployment timelines, milestones, and capacity constraints in a centralized planning hub.

  • Maintain and continuously improve the master deployment calendar, integrating inputs from multiple departments (land, rock, logistics, quality, science).

  • Participate in monthly S&OP and weekly S&OE meetings, preparing reports, dashboards, and deviation analysis.

  • Support planning scenario modeling and data-driven prioritization decisions.

  • Monitor adherence to the deployment plan and flag execution risks or constraint violations.

  • Track and visualize KPIs related to forecast accuracy, plan adherence, and resource utilization.

  • Assist in standardizing and documenting planning procedures and workflows.

  • Coordinate input gathering from field teams and stakeholders to support a bottoms-up planning approach.

  • Create and maintain dynamic tools (dashboards, Gantt charts, trackers) to enable operational transparency.

  • Support internal communications and follow-ups related to plan changes, alignment, and escalation processes.

What Success Looks Like (90 Days, 6 Months, 12 Months)

In the First 90 Days

  • Fully onboarded into deployment planning logic and tools.

  • Deliver a unified planning database aligned with Q3 and Q4 operations.

  • Generate weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights.

  • Gain trust and credibility across cross-functional stakeholders by enabling visibility and follow-through.

In 6–12 Months

  • Achieve consistency and reliability in planning cycle execution.

  • Demonstrate improved plan adherence and reduced execution variability.

  • Enable real-time deployment visibility and scenario-based decision-making.

  • Support planning discipline and structure across teams with minimum supervision.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related fields.

  • 2–4 years of experience in operations, planning, supply chain, or field execution roles.

  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and visualization tools.

  • Proven ability to structure information and drive execution in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

  • Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in field operations, logistics, mining, agriculture, or environmental sectors.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, planning platforms, and operational dashboards.

  • Prior experience in high-growth startups or companies transitioning to scalable operations.

  • Exposure to S&OP or S&OE frameworks.

Compensation

Market-competitive, aligned with experience and performance. Includes structured growth opportunities within the planning and operations function
