About the role:

As the Quality Assurance (QA) Officer, you will hold a crucial responsibility for ensuring the consistent execution of SecondCrop projects, adherence to stringent regulatory requirements, and the delivery of superior-quality soil carbon credits to the market. Your expertise in data management, project management, and regulatory compliance will be instrumental in achieving our targets and obligations to growers and the regulator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce rigorous QA protocols and procedures to enhance the credibility and integrity of our SecondCrop projects in Australia.
  • Identify critical risk points and variances throughout the project lifecycle that necessitate QA intervention and establish targeted controls to mitigate these.
  • Design, implement, and manage QA processes and controls tailored to the unique requirements of each SecondCrop offering worldwide.
  • Lead the execution of QA controls, ensuring comprehensive understanding and compliance among our Commercial Operations teams, underlining the importance of these measures.
  • Provide high-level reporting on QA status across all SecondCrop regions to executive leadership, including the prompt reporting of any potential or actual compliance issues.
  • Liaise with External Auditors to ensure their requirements are meticulously documented and met, facilitating full compliance.
  • Assist the Director SecondCrop Australia in cultivating and maintaining vital external regulatory and audit relationships.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project Quality Assurance, with a focus on agricultural projects preferred
  • Strong analytical skills to identify risk areas and develop effective control strategies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to oversee QA processes and team compliance.
  • Ability to manage high-level external relationships in the regulatory and audit domains.
  • Proven experience in driving compliance, quality control and process enhancements
