Procurement / Sourcing Manager - Supply Chain & Operations

As Procurement / Sourcing Manager within our Supply Chain & Operations (SC&OPS) division, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our Sourcing strategies. You will have a significant impact on the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability of Smappee's supply chain operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing general, as well as commodity specific Procurement strategies, managing the supply base and supplier relationships, and ensuring performance. Your efforts will directly contribute to the operational results and growth of Smappee. 

Responsibilities 

• Develop and implement sSourcing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives 

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive Supplier & Subcontractor Agreements, ensuring alignment with company goals 

• Develop and manage supplier onboarding and offboarding process 

• Develop supply base of key/critical commodities towards scalable setup, capable of delivering appropriate performance throughout business growth 

• Implement continuous improvement programs with key suppliers to enhance performance 

• Define and monitor supplier performance criteria in collaboration with the Quality team 

• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner. 

• Analyze market trends and develop forecasts to optimize procurement decisions. 

• Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in procurement tools and innovations 

Requirements

• Master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field 

• Proven experience as a Purchasing/Procurement/Sourcing Manager or in a similar commercial and/or technical role 

• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, processes, and practices. 

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills 

• Ability to inspire, guide, and influence others towards achieving organizational goals. This includes setting a clear vision, providing direction, and being a role model for team members 

• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations by setting realistic goals, providing clear timelines, and delivering on promises. 

• Proficient in using procurement software and tools 

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment 

• Knowledge of renewable energy and environmental sustainability is a plus
