As a spin-off of the RWTH Aachen University, we develop software for the digitization of electricity networks. Your Role

As part of our Sales and Business Development team, you will directly influence the growth of envelio. Your task is to develop new projects for our product, the Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP), and to develop grid operators into satisfied and long-term users. Within the team we attach great importance to a trustful cooperation as well as self-initiative and a high degree of responsibility.

As Key Account Manager (f/m/d), you will be responsible for managing, nurturing and expanding relationships with our most important clients in Germany and Europe.

How You Make an Impact

  • You develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with our key clients in Germany and Europe
  • You develop strategic account plans to cross-sell or upsell new features, projects or applications
  • You are responsible for the entire sales cycle from identifying opportunities and delivering presentations to preparing quotes and negotiating contracts
  • You prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement
  • You identify new customer requirements and support the strategic development of our product and solution portfolio
  • You work closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer success, and product development, to ensure high customer satisfaction levels

Your Profile

  • You have completed a university degree in the field of industrial engineering, business administration with a specialization in technology management or a comparable course of study
  • You have proven experience as a Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or in a similar role in the energy space
  • You are a strong communicator, have a confident manner and bring a solution-oriented "hands-on" thinking with you
  • You have strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • You see yourself as a team player and support your colleagues at all times in order to achieve the common goal
  • You are fluent in German and English, other Northern and Eastern European languages are a plus
  • You bring a high degree of initiative and enjoy working independently
