Your role and your team:

 Inside the Structure Testing Team within Lilium we value a hands-on approach with a can-do attitude. Our Test Enrgineers are hard-working, smart, goal-oriented and creative and looking for interns to develop and understand high performance energy systems, that are required for electrical aviation.

As intern you will learn directly from our experienced battery experts and report directly to the Team Lead Structure Testing and work closely with our Structure Testing Team.

Your Day to Day:

• Analyze test data and prepare test reports
• Assist with validation testing in the Structure Lab
• Hands-on testing of structural components
• Create/update and maintain a laboratory Assets database
• Manage and organize Laboratory sensors, equipment's and network files
• Set-Up the Structure Lab Dashboard and propose modifications
• Create user manual on internally developed test rigs
• Support calibration methods validation and optimization
• Support Test Execution and Documentation
• Possibility to conduct a bachelor's or master's thesis

Your Profile:

Business Experience / Skills

• Bachelor or Master studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
• General knowledge of battery chemistries
• Strong desire to learn and improve today's battery technologies
• Work independently with a hands-on mentality
• Motivation to transfer improvement ideas into reality
• Good technical understanding and high affinity for technology
• Good knowledge in Matlab/ Simulink programming
• Knowledge of LabVIEW programming is beneficial
• Confident handling of the common MS Office programs
• Practical experience in industry is beneficial
• Knowledge of closed loop system behavior is beneficial
• Knowledge of metrology is beneficial
• Experience in sensor instrumentation and data acquisition systems is beneficial.
• Fluent in English
