Intern - Controlling and Finance

Your role and your team: 

The Controlling / Finance Intern will work closely with the Munich based Controlling and FP&A team to build a highly automated planning environment while working with new technologies. As a fully integrated member of the team, you will be part of building out processes and systems that will define the company in the future.

Your Day to Day:

• Cooperate with other teams to support the finance business partner to develop ad hoc report for specific projects or new business case
• Help to set up, maintain and improve a project management reporting including database maintenance to support a robust reporting  process
• Prepare crisp and clear presentations used for decision making 
• Support the controlling team in budget planning and budget management. 
• Support the team in continuous process improvement
• Participate in strategic finance projects and ad-hoc tasks 

Your Profile:

• The Intern must be enrolled in a University program.
• Previous experience or a strong interest in finance, controlling and/or FP&A is beneficial
• Good MS Office skills - advanced knowledge of Excel is required (experience with VBA is a plus).
• Good financial acumen and ability to manipulate & interpret data. 
• Experience with BI / Reporting tools is a plus. 
• A proactive, results-driven team player committed to support the team achieve its targets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage short-term priority shifts.
• Analytical problem solver who sees obstacles as challenges. 
• Good presentation and communication skills. 
• Fluent in English language (B2/C1) essential, German would be beneficial.
