About the company:
SPAN is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Home Advisor Manager to join our team. As a Home Advisor Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of your team as they educate and qualify prospective customers for SPAN installations. You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and scaling the Lead Pass Program for SPAN’s Installer channel. The position will report to the Manager, Inside Sales.
Lead a team of 8-10 Home Advisors to meet and exceed individual and team targets for lead qualification, conversion, and customer satisfaction
Coach and mentor Home Advisors on their performance, providing regular feedback and setting expectations for success
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, sales leadership, and installation partners
Perform data-driven analysis to glean insights, identify opportunities for efficiency gains, and implement process improvements
Manage team performance metrics, regularly reporting on progress and making recommendations for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and operations to drive alignment on sales strategies and execution
Participate in the hiring process for new Home Advisors, evaluating candidates and making hiring recommendations
Develop and implement training programs to support Home Advisor development and ensure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in their role
You are a seasoned sales leader with a passion for coaching and developing others, and have a proven track record of successfully managing high-performing teams. A problem-solver at heart, you tenaciously advocate for positive business outcomes for all stakeholders. You are analytical and data-driven, with the ability to use metrics to drive process improvement and make informed decisions.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field; or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field, with 1-2 years of experience in managing and leading teams
Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and other stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, make data-driven decisions, and use metrics to drive team performance
Proficiency with email, Google suite, and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)

Experience working in a call center or inside sales environment
Experience selling home upgrades, especially smart home, solar/storage, and/or other electrification technologies
Familiarity with smart home technology, solar/storage, and/or other electrification technologies
A working understanding of home remodels, retrofits, and upgrades
