Your Role and your Team:
We are looking for an outstanding Embedded Software Engineer to join our innovative team to shape the future of regional air mobility.
In this position, you will be reporting to the Platform Software Team Leader and will contribute to the specification, design and development of the platform software to be used in the Lilium Jet.
The position requires someone with a strong embedded software development experience and with low level drivers' development experience.
Your Day to Day:
Specify, design, and develop safety-critical platform software (drivers, middleware and board support packages (BSP)) according to the internal process (DO-178C compliant).
Generate all required life cycle data (e.g.: High level requirements, software architecture, low level requirements, source code).
Produce documentation of the platform software for internal use and/or to demonstrate compliance with DO-178C objectives.
Develop the test infrastructure to verify the platform software.
Co-operate with Hardware and Quality Assurance teams.
Your Profile:
BSc, MSc or equivalent degree in software engineering, electrical engineering or a related field required
5+ years of industry experience with low level drivers’ development for NXP/Infineon microcontrollers
Strong expertise in embedded C with diagnostic/design/coding/debug skills
Working knowledge of DO-178C is highly desirable
Target-oriented, driven workstyle with analytic problem-solving skills required
Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language would be beneficial
