Content Creator/Writer

We are looking for a Content Creator/Writer. You will be responsible for creating high-quality content that promotes our brand and products, including website content, app copy, blog articles, newsletters, social media posts, direct emails, brochures and other content formats as required. You will be able to use your creativity and writing skills to increase engagement and drive results.

Responsibilities

• You create engaging and relevant content for Smappee's website and social media channels.
• You research and write compelling blog articles and landing pages about our products and related topics.
• You create a content calendar and develop and execute creative ideas for social media campaigns to increase engagement and reach.
• You collaborate with your marketing team members to brainstorm and plan content for email campaigns, events, and other marketing initiatives.
• You help maintain a consistent brand voice across all content and platforms.
• You conduct keyword research and monitor analytics to optimise online content for search engines.
• You stay up-to-date with industry trends and news and incorporate these into content planning.

Requirements

• You have a bachelor's degree in a related field (marketing, communication,...)
• You have 2+ years proven experience in content creation, preferably in an agency, marketing or custom publication context.
• You have excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce engaging and informative content.
• You have a strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
• You have a visual eye and some basic photo editing skills. Video creation and editing abilities are a much appreciated added value.
• You have excellent written skills in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French and/or German is an added value.
• You are a creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
• You are able to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
• You have a ‘green heart’ and you believe in renewable energy.
