We’re looking for a driven and results-oriented Account Manager Charging Solutions to support our business growth in the Luxembourg and South Wallonia region.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in accelerating Smappee’s growth by identifying, engaging, and closing deals with partners and commercial end customers in your territory. Your mission is to actively prospect the market, introduce prospects to our smart EV charging solutions, and convert opportunities into impactful partnerships.
As a crucial player in strengthening our regional presence, you’ll negotiate valuable deals and ensure customers receive the support they need. Your efforts will directly influence revenue growth and help shape the future of EV charging in your region.
Responsibilities
- You build long-term relationships with installers, facility managers, fleet operators, and real estate professionals.
- You maintain a well-structured sales pipeline and use CRM tools effectively.
- Cold calling is second nature to you—you see it as a vital tool to connect with prospects.
- You analyse the costs and benefits of potential customers to guide strategic decisions and use your organizational skills to build and maintain a structured lead database that ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
- You actively identify, approach, and close deals with partners and end customers within the EV charging ecosystem in Luxembourg and South Wallonia.
- You stay informed about industry trends and competitive developments and turn insights into strategic opportunities.
- You participate in weekly meetings at our headquarters in Harelbeke, especially during the onboarding phase.
Requirements
- You have 3+ years of sales experience in a technical environment, with a proven trackrecord in building and maintaining client relationships.
- You have an existing network among installers, distributors, or energy-related businesses.
- Previous experience in the EV, energy, or smart building sector is highly preferred.
- You are fluent in French, with professional proficiency in English; knowledge of German or Dutch is a plus.
- Your selling, communication, and negotiation skills set you apart, enabling you to drive successful partnerships and close deals.
- Perseverance is your middle name.
- You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can work independently while contributing to the team’s success.
- You’re entrepreneurial, proactive, and commercially minded, always seeking opportunities to innovate.
- You have a valid driver’s license and live in or near Luxembourg, with the willingness to travel frequently within your territory.
