Your Role

At envelio Customer Success describes a key element of our corporate philosophy. With our software product, we aim to create and maximize customer value. Our product - the Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP) - is a software for the digitization and automation of technical processes for distribution system operators. The department's task is to design and optimize processes that support our customers in using the software as intelligently as possible.

As Community and Technical Content Manager (f/m/d) in our Customer Excellence Team, you will assist our customers to utilize our software using the technical documentation, build and manage the user community and thus contribute to the long-term satisfaction of our customers.

How You Make an Impact

  • You work with internal teams (Product, Design, Customer Success) to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product, its features, how it is used by customers and derive documentation requirements from this
  • You analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
  • You produce high-quality, easy to understand documentation, online help, tutorials and other content, that helps users to understand and to utilize the software effectively
  • You ensure consistency and quality across all documentation and establish documentation standards and style guides
  • You organize and host community events such as webinars, user group meetings, online forums, and other virtual or in-person events
  • You foster and manage relationships with users across the community platform
  • You encourage user participation, answer questions, and facilitate discussions
  • You monitor community platform for user activity, sentiment, and feedback. Analyze corresponding metrics and prepare reports on community engagement and growth

Your Profile

  • You have proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation and/or community management
  • You are able to deliver high-quality documentation with a keen attention to detail
  • You have the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
  • You possess excellent written skills in English and German
  • You have a strong understanding of user needs and can empathize with different user personas
  • You have strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve community issues effectively
  • You possess strong interpersonal skills and can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • You have Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
