Under the responsibility of the VP Sales and Marketing,  the Bee Health Lead will have the main mission of developing the Bee Health business in accordance with the company's commercial strategy, hereunder launching a new product and technology into the segment.  Position location is listed as North Carolina, but open to someone living in the USA or Canada.  Travel will be up to 50% of the time including international travel between USA and Canada. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Help to develop and implement the go to market strategy in the bee health segment for a new varroa mite control technology
  • Negotiate offers and contracts with key accounts
  • Reach annual budget goals through sales to new customers and growth with existing customer
  • Plan and implement product training with end-users and key accounts
  • Increase company and products awareness by meeting associations, key opinion leaders and by actively participating in shows, conferences, and other events.
  • Report market trends, customers’ requests and propose products’ improvements and ideas for new products and services.
  • Develop the relationship and collaboration with distributors and support them in their promotional efforts.
  • Develop relationships with key associations and institutions
  • Increase company and products awareness by meeting associations, key opinion leaders and by actively participating in shows, conferences, and other events.

Education and Experience:

  • 5-10 years experience in a sales or marketing related field in the bee health industry
  • Bachelor in a relevant field
  • Strong knowledge of bee keeping in general and the industry specifically, particularly the distribution and value chain
  • Experience of sales or product-management of varroa-mite control solutions strongly preferred
