Role Description
We are looking for a Facilities/ Shipping and Receiving Associate to support our manufacturing and office operations. This person will make sure our facility runs smoothly and will support our technical operations. You will be both able to independently execute day-to-day operations and maintenance activities as well as to quickly tackle facility management needs. This person will work closely with all members of the Form Energy team to provide a great and safe place to work. What You'll Do:

  • Manage all incoming and outgoing shipments with an electronic inventory system
  • Organize and maintain hardware and consumables inventory
  • Manage and maintain all materials incoming, ensuring they are delivered to the correct point of use and safely stored
  • Track and maintain inventory of key material quantities in support of maintaining allowable on use quantities
  • Support Production for Pull of product requests
  • Support the shipping of items to off-site storage including wrapping, logging, marking items for shipment to Intra–warehouse (MA, PA, CA)
  • Organize and execute economical freight shipments
  • Support the receiving of large, heavy items from suppliers and tollers
  • Participate in space organization for events
  • Maintain safe surfaces inside and outside the facility 
  • Interface with vendors, provide escorts, maintain a secure environment
  • Support the assembly and installation of facility furniture/equipment as requested
  • Assist in security, housekeeping, maintenance, and safety needs of the organization; Door/dock monitoring and security from 9 AM to 5 PM
  • What You'll Bring:

  • Experience doing detail-oriented, hands-on work
  • Ability to learn to cloud-based organizational tools
  • Flexible person with the ability to shift gears quickly and come back to the original task as needed
  • Strong communication and organization skills 
  • Forklift certified or willing to be trained
  • Hazmat, DOT or IATA certified or willing to be certified
  • Ability to regularly lift 35 to 50 lbs
  • Trades skills are a plus
