What you’ll do: (specifics on what the role entails and what is to be expected of the candidate on a daily basis)

The individual in this position will be responsible for performing and coordinating all training related activities for the Manufacturing team, including collaborations with key stakeholders in other departments to ensure proper implementation of Archer’s Manufacturing plant policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver, document, and track training activities per applicable Standard Operating Procedures
  • Create training scenarios and presentations including, but not limited to: hands-on simulated scenarios, presentations regarding procedures, job expectations and regulatory requirements, and general information intended to expedite development of the Manufacturing team and regulation adherence
  • Create, update, and modify curricula for job roles (and changes) specific to manufacturing
  • Lead, coordinate, and schedule technical training facilitation and qualifications to meet timelines
  • Tracking the progress and completion of required training for all manufacturing staff. Detailed documentation is required in support of proper business practices and auditing standards. 
  • Provide regular updates on the Manufacturing Training program status and initiatives to leadership team
  • Prepare and communicate monthly Manufacturing training metrics
  • Perform compliance self-audits, as required, and support external audits
  • Assist in change controls, CAPA’s, and deviations as required in collaboration with Site Manufacturing Technology
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers and vendors to meet training standards

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree and OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years’ experience in training in a manufacturing environment

What you need: 

  • 10+ years experience in instructional design, facilitation, and delivery of technical training
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and compliance
  • Strong project or program management experience 
  • Ability to manage multiple partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to relay technical information in a concise and simple format for trainees and upwards to leadership
  • Independent thinker who can create a process or solution where none currently exists 
  • Possess good interpersonal and strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with minimum supervision, driving toward results quickly and thoughtfully 
  • Computer skills: Google Workspace to build and execute data in documents and spreadsheets

  • Aerospace and Aviation Industry Experience

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $96,000 - $120,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
