BETA Technologies Inc., is seeking a highly-skilled Supply Chain Technical Operations Lead to support Supplier Quality, Supplier Manufacturing Engineering, and Supplier Development. In this role, you will be responsible for working with the subcontracts and procurement team to evaluate current and potential suppliers capabilities, manage the onboarding and follow up audits required for suppliers to be included in the approved suppliers list, and drive root cause, corrective action, and continuous improvement across the supply chain. A successful candidate will be able to mentor and coach team members while engaging directly in day-to-day challenges to solve problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support in the Hiring, coaching, leadership, and development of the team to achieve established targets and goals.

Participate in the generation of Statements of Work (SoW) and Supplier Selection Process.

Lead the implementation of the Supplier Quality Program.

Implement total quality management principles and drive a continuous improvement and operational excellence culture throughout the supply chain.

Support subcontract and procurement in managing supplier performance throughout the lifecycle of the contract.

Mentor and act as a point of elevation for other supply chain members.

Act as supply chain technical authority on behalf of the company.

Act as the technical liaison between internal and external stakeholders.

Support, partner, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or the equivalent in work experience.

Experience in developing and leading teams

10+ years of aerospace manufacturing and quality experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Experience in aerospace, space, or defense industry.

AS9100 Lead Auditor Training

PMP Certification or other project management experience.

Experience in drafting and implementing manufacturing and quality processes.

Excellent interpersonal skills

A passion for flight
