About the company:

Einride is an industry-disrupting freight technology company providing end-to-end solutions for electric and autonomous shipping.

By deploying technologies that are integrated using its data-driven operating system, Saga, it enables customers to decarbonize their operations by making an immediate shift towards digitalized, electric road freight.

In 2019, Einride became the world’s first company to operate an autonomous, electric freight vehicle on a public road. Its vision is to make Earth a better place through intelligent movement.

Want to be part of transforming road freight – for good? Einride is showing the world a new way to move, based on the latest digital, electric and autonomous technologies. Through our offering – freight capacity as a service – we enable businesses around the world to accelerate towards their sustainability goals.

Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today, we are a team of more than 500 people, and our award-winning technology is being deployed across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients include some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies.

Over the summer you’ll be working on various topics within Security Engineering where you'll receive personal coaching from Einride colleagues and make a real difference towards a sustainable future.

As an intern within Security Engineering, you will get the opportunity to tackle challenges within the technical cybersecurity space. You will be able to participate in at least three different competence areas:

This internship will take place during 10 weeks in the summer and will be compensated accordingly. We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible as selection and interviews are held continuously.

At Einride, we are innovators, building solutions the world has never seen before – but urgently needs. That’s why we take action, and it’s why we are always eager to be challenged. We know that our best innovations come from having a diverse mix of people, including those of different experiences, career paths, and walks of life. By coming together and sharing our perspectives openly – by disagreeing, discussing, and committing – we deliver greater impact.

  • Security monitoring, which will teach you about what kind of security relevant activity to be on the lookout for in a cloud-first environment and what challenges go into building detection for it.
  • Vulnerability management, which will give you insight into how vulnerabilities are tracked, managed and reported on in an environment with many different types of resources.
  • Application security, where you get to learn about which processes and follow-up activities go into enabling secure software development.

  • You will work collaboratively with other members of the team, and will get opportunities to improve your skills in analyzing the state within each of these areas as well as take part in activities to improve it. Our team is dedicated to providing guidance and coaching throughout your internship, and your work will assist us in both developing and executing some of the team’s most important tasks. Join us if you’re interested in an internship experience that can give you real-world insights that you can’t get in school.

    Internship requirements:

  • You should have ongoing studies or a graduation in connection with the summer 2024
  • We expect you to be fluent in English, both spoken and written
