Sr. Logistics Coordinator

Charm Industrial is working to return the atmosphere to 280 ppm CO₂. We design, build and operate a fleet of mobile fast pyrolyzers that convert ag and forest biomass residues into bio-oil for use in carbon removal and direct-reduced-iron steelmaking.

In 2020 our Chief Scientist and co-founder Shaun Meehan had two breakthroughs (bio-oil intermediate and bio-oil sequestration) that kickstarted the company. Within 10 months we completed our first carbon removal injection and in 2021 we completed more than 5,000 tons of CO₂e removal for customers like Stripe, Shopify and Microsoft.

Charm Industrial is on the hunt for a Senior Logistics Coordinator to keep our carbon removal deliveries running smoothly. You’ll orchestrate the movement of biomass and bio-oil across the country, make sure our partners know what’s coming when, and turn logistical chaos into clean, on-time execution.

• 5+ years in transportation and logistics, ideally with hands-on trucking and/or rail operations.

• Proven track record coordinating across suppliers, brokers, and field teams to keep goods moving.

• Comfortable managing documentation—purchase orders, invoices, receipts—and keeping payments on track.

• High communication bandwidth: you know how to keep everyone in the loop (whether by text, Slack, email, or phone).

• Obsessed with details but adaptable when plans change.

• Organized and proactive—you spot issues before they become delays.

• Skilled at balancing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Passionate about solving hard problems and contributing to our climate mission.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with digital logistics management systems.

• Background in purchasing or leasing fleets (railcars, trucks, etc.).

You’ll manage day-to-day logistics—scheduling trucks and rail shipments, coordinating with brokers, and ensuring deliveries land on time.

You’ll build near- and mid-term delivery forecasts by partnering with supply chain and field teams, then translate them into clear execution plans.

When schedules change (and they will), you’ll be the one proactively looping in stakeholders—internal and external—so no one is caught off guard.

From invoices to delivery receipts, you’ll keep documentation airtight. You’ll also monitor costs, fleet utilization, and KPIs to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.

You won’t just run the playbook—you’ll help write it. You’ll propose process improvements and keep raising the bar on logistics operations at Charm.
