Your Role and your Team:

Lilium defined implemented an IT landscape based on a greenfield approach, combining state-of-the-art-, off-the-shelf and self developed applications. We implemented an entire system ecosystem to ensure Engineering, Manufacturing and Enabling functions including Quality & Process Management are ready for Day 0 / SoP (start of production). This eco system its business & IT functions need to be constantly improved or enhanced.

If you have what it takes to help improve and further develop this new landscape with us, check out the open role as Solution Architect for Governance, Quality & Processes who will report to our IT Head of DevOps Corporate Systems and will work with relevant teams across Lilium and its stakeholders.

You will be responsible for the continuous improvement / enhancement not only of common Governance (Jira) Quality and Process (Stages) tools but also the processes and activities behind, such as agile working, change management of iterative frameworks / way of working.

 All the above is derived from the Lilium IT strategy, policies, standards, governance and operational activities in partnership with technology leadership and other stakeholders to ensure the required Business needs.

Since Corporate Systems supports the Quality functions within Lilium, you also will be responsible for process management at Lilium, the specialist will also cover process mining and robotics.

Your Day to Day:

  • Strategize, plan and execute the implementation road map for the Lilium business landscape
  • Support the business to increase agile capabilities including usage of Atlassian as the central project steering instrument
  • Support the respective overarching business departments to analyze process weaknesses
  • Design, configure, implement and maintain the respective solutions
  • Steer the selection of solutions and estimate resources/cost required to implement the proposed solution to meet customer's requirements
  • Drive the implementation across business entities, raise awareness and drive the importance of governance, and compliance across the organization
  • Act as knowledge broker and trusted advisor service offerings globally and provide guidance
  • Contract and steer our external implementation partner

Your Profile:

  • Strong academic background with at least a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • 5+ years relevant industry experience in a senior position within a large-scale, complex organisation
  • Strong technical knowhow of the Atlassian suite including Jira & Confluence
  • Can demonstrate awareness of the importance of cultural transformation in establishing a successful data landscape, governance and driving data quality improvements
  • Strong working knowledge and experience handling complex business workflows spanning across.
  • Proven ability to influence at the executive level and to interface and collaborate effectively with other senior leaders.
  • Good understanding of business change and how to deliver successful change to the business through technology
  • Proven practical experience with agile project methodologies
  • Experience managing vendors ensuring its performance and deliverables meet specifications
  • Ideally, professional experience in the aviation industry or automotive industry
  • Hands on mentality with a responsible, proactive and solution-oriented way of working
  • Communicative team player, with strong organizational and implementation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English and ideally German
