More about the team you will be joining as a Site Reliability Engineer

We are building a team where individuals are expected to deliver performance, ideas and concepts which make a difference. We will expect you to think creatively and push the boundaries of what is considered normal. We are cloud-first and invest in staff who want to keep at the bleeding edge.

My Impact as a Site Reliability Engineer

We're looking for a well-rounded Site Reliability Engineer who can take a holistic view of existing infrastructure and services, interface with stakeholders to gain an understanding of what the business needs and collaborate to design, deploy, and iterate on technical solutions and services. You will need to have demonstrable cloud and on-premises infrastructure experience, with a desire to automate everything and save time in the future, whilst ensuring adequate testing to mitigate the risk of human error to confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Not only will you help us connect the dots and evolve our technical capabilities over time, but you’ll also grow your own knowledge and expertise, keeping your finger on the pulse, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping to upskill other members of the team.  The role sits within the Technical Delivery team and is full-time. It will require the successful candidate to be a self-starter and motivated to help us deliver something special, disruptive, and exciting.

What success will look like for the Site Reliability Engineer

  • Driving the continuous improvement of reliability, security, monitoring, and alerting for our mission-critical services.
  • Automating common processes to improve turnaround time and reduce the risk of human error.
  • Responding to incidents escalated by the Service Delivery team in line with agreed SLAs and conducting blameless post-mortems to ensure their permanent closure.
  • Staying current with industry trends, and making recommendations as needed to help the organization innovate and excel.
