Role Description

We seek a Grants Program Manager who will be responsible for managing pursuit, management, reporting, and closeout of grants and other non-dilutive funding. The ideal candidate will have superior organizational skills, great attention to detail and a willingness to roll up their sleeves, and the ability to build relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders. This position will report to the Controller. The Grants Program Manager’s efforts will strengthen Form’s relationships with key funders, streamline grant administration, and keep our organization fiscally sound. Successful grants management will accelerate Form’s mission by helping offset costs of the company’s scale-up efforts.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner cross-functionally across Form to lead preparation of funding applications and coordination of contract negotiations
  • Actively track non-dilutive funding opportunities – including grants, project-related sub-market loans and equity investments, and tax credits – working with other teams across Form to identify and apply for the highest potential opportunities that can accelerate our business
  • Optimize Form’s grant administration process for government and private grants and other sources of non-dilutive funding
  • Build program budgets, monitor expenditure and invoicing, and provide transparent reporting to Form leadership and technical program leads
  • Oversee compliance with funding agreements and applicable regulations, including management of government audits and adherence to required reporting deadlines
  • Coordinate and engage outside service providers, such as grant writers, compliance experts, and auditors
  • Train staff on policies, procedures, and best practices related to spending and compliance
  • What You'll Bring:

  • Passion for tackling climate change
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in areas that include grant management, program management, or other related areas
  • Experience with government grant-making agencies at the U.S. federal and state levels; familiarity with international funders a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to independently project manage across several parallel, deadline-driven work streams
  • Eagerness to partner with technical and operational teams on tactical and strategic challenges in parallel     
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with budgeting and financial reporting
